Hi folks,
I had to tab this song, because it is so good and I wanted to play it,
but the chord versions sounded not quite right to me.

I don't play all the parts in single strokes, as tabbed,
but play around a bit with up- and downstrokes, which sounds much better,
especially if you don't have other instruments joining in.

I didn't bother tabbing the solo part in the end, because I tried to arrange it for one guitar.

Listen to the song to get the right timing for the singing! And most importantly: have
fun playing it! ;)

INTRO/VERSE:

----x--x-----x--x-----x--x-----x---x----
----x--x-----x--x-----x--x-----x---x----
----x--x-----x--x-----8--8-----8---6----
----8--8-----6--6-----8--8-----8---6----
----8--8-----6--6-----6--6-----6---4----
----6--6-----4--4-----x--x-----x---x----

(Repeat 2x for intro)
"I've waited for your call and for the moon
To release me from the longest afternoon
I've re-arranged parts of my living room"

INTERLUDE1:

----x--x----x-x-x-x----x----x--x--x----
----x--x----x-x-x-x----x----x--x--x----
----x--x----x-x-x-x----x----x--x--x----
----9--9----9-6-9-11--11----11-8--11---
----9--9----9-6-9-11--11----11-8--11---
----7--7----7-4-7-9---9-----9--6--9----

"But time is hard to kill since I met you"

INTRO/VERSE:
"Looking at the cars that drive on by
While spring is making promises outside
Red cars are quite rare I realize"

INTERLUDE1:
"Then I wonder which color you would like"

INTERLUDE2:

g|-----10---10---10-------| play 3x, then: g|-----10-13-10----10-13-10--|
d|--13---13---13----13-11-| d|--13-----------13----------|

"Seven little numbers
Baby, they could be a start
Seven little numbers Baby I know yours by heart"

alternatively you can play a CisMajor cord as shown below and play around with it:
--x---
--x---
--10--
--11--
--11--
--9---

CHORUS:
If you are playing with someone else, one guitar can play this throughout the Chorus:

g|-----10---10---10-13-10-|
d|--13---13---13----------|

Rhythm guitar goes like this:

----x--x-----x--x-----x---x-----x---x----
----x--x-----x--x-----x---x-----x---x----
|----x--x-----x--x-----x---x-----x---x----| Repeat
|----8--8-----6--6-----11--11----11--11---| 3x
----8--8-----6--6-----11--11----11--11---
----6--6-----4--4-----9---9-----9---9----

"Woo-oh, oh-oh, all the pretty things that we could be
Woo-oh, oh-oh, I feel you in every heartbeat
Woo-oh, oh-oh, travel in a dream that could come true"

----x--x-----x--x-----x---x-----x---x----
----x--x-----x--x-----x---x-----x---x----
----8--8-----8--8-----11--11----11--11---
----8--8-----8--8-----11--11----11--11---
----6--6-----6--6-----9---9---- 9---9----
----x--x-----x--x-----x---x-----x---x----

"These numbers could be lucky for you" (this part I especially don't play as single
strokes but more in a lots of ups and down stroking manner ;))

INTERLUDE3:

----x--x-----x--x-----x--x-----x--x-x-x--
----x--x-----x--x-----x--x-----x--x-x-x--
----x--x-----x--x-----x--x-----x--x-x-x--
----8--8-----8--8-----8--8-----8--6-6-6--
----8--8-----8--8-----8--8-----8--6-6-6--
----6--6-----6--6-----6--6-----6--4-4-4--

INTRO/VERSE
"I watch the sky change to a darker blue
I can't think of another thing to do
And every song just makes me think of you"

INTERLUDE1:
"Because the singer sounds as if she was longing,
As if she was longing, too"

INTERLUDE2 (2x)
"Seven little numbers
Baby, they could be a start
Seven little numbers
Baby, I know yours by heart
Seven little numbers
Baby, they could make a change
Seven little numbers
Make a fire out of this flame"

CHORUS

BRIDGE (You can also play only the notes on the E and a string, as in the song, but I
like it better this way):

----x--x---x---x---x--x---x---x--x---x--
----x--x---x---x---x--x---x---x--x---x--
|----x--x---x---10--11-11--10--x--x---x--| Repeat
|----8--10--11--10--11-11--10--11-11--10-| 3x
----8--10--11--8---9--9---8---11-11--10-
----6--8---9---x---x--x---x---9--9---8--

"I read your name on every wall, on every wall - tell me
Is there a cure for me at all, for me at all - tell me
I read your name on every wall, on every wall - tell me"

----x--x---x---x---x--x---x---x--x---x--
----x--x---x---x---x--x---x---x--x---x--
----x--x---x---10--11-11--10--13-13--15-
----8--10--11--10--11-11--10--13-13--15-
----8--10--11--8---9--9---8---11-11--13-
----6--8---9---x---x--x---x---x--x---x--

"Is there a cure for me at all, for me at all"

CHORUS (2x)
"Woo-oh, oh-oh, all the pretty things that we could be
Woo-oh, oh-oh, I feel you in every heartbeat
Woo-oh, oh-oh, travel in a dream that could come true
These numbers could be lucky for you

Woo-oh, oh-oh
Woo-oh, oh-oh
Woo-oh, oh-oh
These numbers could be lucky"

END:
----x--x---x--x---x---x----x---x--
----x--x---x--x---x---x----x---x--
----8--8---8--8---10--10---10--10-
----8--8---8--8---10--10---10--10-
----6--6---6--6---8---8----8---8--
|----x--x---x--x---x---x----x---x--|let the last chord ring.

"These numbers could be lucky for you"

That is it! ENJOY!
