pre-chorus
           B
i tried to read between the lines

your voice was the soundtrack of my summer

         A
you'll always be my thunder and i said
D A
your eyes are the brightest of all the colors
                G
i don't wanna ever love another
         A

today's a winding road
tell me where to start
and tell me something i don't know
today i'm on my own
i can't move a muscle
and i can't pick up the phone till now

pre-chorus 2

and now i'm reaching for the tall grass
(i'm longing for the breeze)
i need to step outside
(just to see if i can breathe)
gotta find a way out
maybe there's a way out

chorus

bridge
          E
yeah, i'm walking on a tightrope
     F#
(i'm wrapped up in vines)
  A
i think we'll make it out
	      A
(but you just gotta give me time)
D
strike me down with lightning
        F#
(let me feel you in my veins)
  A
i wanna let you know
  G
i wanna feel your pain

first 1/2 of verse 1

chorus 2x

(during second chorus)

cuz it's getting colder
yeah that summer's over
and you know it hurts

and listen to the thunder

Looks pretty good. Wouldn't hurt to add the strumming pattern though if you know it. Sometimes it is hard to find out what it is.

And as the others said, its Open D tuning.

Otherwise good job.
