G Am F
Night that I first met you
C G
You had me Mesmer - ized
    Am F
And three weeks later in the front porch light
       C G
Takin’ forty five minutes to kiss goodnight
         F
I hadn’t told you yet
                                 G C
But, I thought I loved you then

[Chorus 1]

                    G
Now you’re my whole life
                    Am
Now you’re my whole world
       G F
I just can’t believe the way I
     G C
Feel about you girl
                       G
Like a river meets the sea
         G#dim Am
Stronger than it’s ever been
                  G F
We’ve come so far since that day
                          C G
And I thought I loved you then

[Verse 2]

Am F C
And I remem - ber taking you back
   G Am F
To right where I first met you
C G
You were so sur - prised
           Am F
There were people around but I didn’t care
  C G
I got down on one knee right there
F
And once again
                            G C
I thought I loved you then

[Chorus 1]

                    G
Now you’re my whole life
                    Am
Now you’re my whole world
       G F
I just can’t believe the way I
     G C
Feel about you girl
                       G
Like a river meets the sea
         G#dim Am
Stronger than it’s ever been
                  G F
We’ve come so far since that day
                          C G
And I thought I loved you then

[Solo]

Am G F

[Bridge]

           G
I can just see you
       F C
With a baby on the way
           G
I can just see you
          F C
When your hair is turnin’ grey
Am G
What I can’t see is how I’m ever
C G F
Gonna love you more
                         G C
But, I’ve said that be - fore

[Chorus 2]

                    G
Now you’re my whole life
                    Am
Now you’re my whole world
       G F
I just can’t believe the way I
     G C
Feel about you girl
                     G
We’ll look back some day
               G#dim Am
At this moment that we’re in
                 G F
And I’ll look at you and say

And I thought I loved you then
                          Am F
And I thought I loved you then

Do I need to play G#dim? Or is there another chord that would sound similar that I could use? Thanks. :)

Yeah I've always used Emaj instead of G#dim, but that's just me. Nicely done :)
