[Verse 1]

Em, Bm A5
Was losing all my friends.
                     G5 Em
Was losing them to drinking and to driving.
                  Bm A5 G5
Was losing all my friends, but I got them back.
Em Bm A5
I am on the mend.
                    G5
At least now I can say that I am trying.
      Em Bm A5 G5
And I hope you will forget things I still lack.

Yeah. Yeah.

[Verse 2]

Em Bm, A5
Is it in you now,
G5
To bear to hear the truth that you have spoken?
Em Bm
Twisted up by knaves,
A5 G5
To make a trap for fools.
Em Bm
Is it in you now,
    A5 G5
To watch the things you gave your life to broken?
       Bm Em A5 G5
And stoop and build them up with warn out tools.

[Chorus]

Em Bm A5 G5
Yeah.
Em Bm A5 G5
Yeah.
E5(7) B5(7) G5 A5

Yeah.

[Post-Chorus]

Arpeggiate: Em, G5, G*

[Verse 3]

Em Bm
Nothing gets so bad,
        A5 G5
A whisper from your father couldn't fix it.
                    Em Bm
He whispers like a bridge, it's a river spanned.
A5 G5
Take all that you have,
                           Em
And turn it into something you would miss if
            Bm A5 G5
Somebody threw that brick, shattered all your plans.

Em Bm A5 G5
Yeah.

[Bridge]

Em ~
Time to get the seeds into the cold ground.
                     D5 C5
It takes a while to grow anything,

Before it's coming to the end, yeah.
Em
Before you put my body in the cold ground,
                    D5 C5
Take some time to warm it with your hand,
              G5 GMaj7
Before it's coming to an end, yeah.

[Post-Chorus]

Em Bm A5
Do you miss the blend,
               G5
Of colors she left in your black and white field?
 Em Bm A5 G5
Do you feel condemned just being there?

the Em and Bm transition into A5 and G5 just seems incompatible. Either it's all power chords or all normal chords, not half and half

For the record: I don't think x052xx is Baug5. I would say it's G/B
As I understand it augmented would be B+D#+G which sounds horrible
