                             Fall Apart Again - Brandi Carlile
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tabbed by: Chris W.
Email: johnhannsmith@gmail.com

Artist: Brandi Carlile
Song: Fall Apart Again
Album: Self-Titled

Tuning: Eb-Ab-Db-Gb-Bb-Eb
down)

Note: I have the distinct feeling that Brandi Carlile plays this another way, just
to her guitar progression, but I feel this version mixes the guitar and bass lines well;
for one performer. Tell me what you think.

1st Verse:
E5          Bsus4
Long as the day
E5        Asus2
Take it away
       C#5        Bsus4        Asus2->Bsus4
Hold it up and you don’t let it fall

E5            Bsus4
Cause devils play
E5        Asus2
Was yesterday
      C#5        Bsus4        Asus2->Bsus4
And I don’t care about that at all

E5       Bsus4
I just smile
E5        Asus2
Once in awhile
        C#5            Bsus4        Asus2->Bsus4
Cause I don’t want the lines on my face
E5            Bsus4
And I sit right here
E5        Asus2
Holding the years
       C#5             Bsus4    Asus2->Bsus4
And I count all of the stars in space

1st Chorus:
E5              C#5
You fall apart again
Bsus4                Asus2
And you can’t find a friend
      E5              C#5
Don’t turn to someone else
Bsus4              Asus2
Cause they won’t understand

2nd Verse:
E5      Bsus4
Self respect
E5        Asus2
Goes unexpressed
         C#5          Bsus4   Asus2->Bsus4
I don’t dream cause I cannot sleep

E5      Bsus4
And I think
E5        Asus2
The world of myself
        C#5           Bsus4        Asus2->Bsus4
But the world doesn’t think much of me

E5            Bsus4
As long as the day
E5        Asus2
Is full of time
C#5                  Bsus4
There will always be room
      Asus2->Bsus4
For your hand in mine

Main Chorus:
E5              C#5
You fall apart again
Bsus4                 Asus2
And you can’t find a friend
E5                    C#5
Don’t turn to someone else
Bsus4               Asus2
Cause they won’t understand
   E5                 C#5
Don’t wanna hear you say
Bsus4           Asus2
That tune is yesterday
E5                    C#5
If you don’t like what you see
Bsus4               Asus2
That means nothing to me

Solo:
Repeat Intro Riff three times
(then progress up, on high e string, relative to capo: F#, G#, Bb, B)

Final Verse:
E5        Bsus4
No one’s home
E5   Asus2
I’m alone
        C#5   Bsus4  Asus2->Bsus4
With my music and my TV
E5            Bsus4
And I’ll still say
E5    Asus2
Yesterday
    C#5      Bsus4   Asus2->Bsus4
Is best when left to sleep

Repeat Chorus
Repeat Intro Riff (end on Asus2)

if you mean tuning it by ear, i'd recommend holding the strings down at the first fret, then tuning them as if the first fret was the nut.
