Capo on first fret, standard tuning.

INTRO:
C, G, C...

VERSE ONE
      C
Anchormen spike their blood
     G
wear masks of mud
     C F
cucumbers cut to fit their eyes
       C G
and so no one would know how tired they've grown
   C G C
of talking and telling their lies

VERSE TWO
          C
While the tvs change stations
       G
scroll messages
            C F
victims and Christians both, drinking blood
                 C G
and they'll pray for the destruction, of all hatred
                C G C
more often just those with hate for us

VERSE THREE
               C G
Cause it hurts when you discover one's worse and one's better
   C F
to suffer or cause others to
            C
and you can live by your conscience
    G
now guilt, is a concept
       C G C
you're no longer subscribing to

CHORUS
          F Fm
There's a virgin in my bed
          C G Am
and she's taking off her dress
    F C G
and I'm not sure what I am gonna do
          F Fm
there's a song stuck in my head
      C G Am
and I can't help singing it
   F C G
oh how i hope my singing pleases you
                  Am
cause this is not who I’ve become
         G C
but what you make me into

BRIDGE
C, F, C, Fm, C, F, C, FM, C, G.....

VERSE FOUR
          C
Oh we got no health insurance
   G
no cellular service
   C F
no disease they can cure
                 C
but we need more money to burn
        G C G C
so each person must learn the dollar amount they are worth

VERSE FIVE
          C
And those pills make me dizzy
   G
forgetting my body
   C F
i watch as it walks away
                 C
and i just keep drinking the poison
    G
and smoking the cartons
  C G C
a pack and a half a day

VERSE SIX
        C
so when time comes to claim me
   G C F
my friends and my family will gather around my grave
              C G
and they'll believe that they knew me and love me and miss me
    C G C
and all call me by my name

CHORUS
    F Fm
so imagine what you want
         C G Am
and then hold on to that thought
      F C G
cause that's as close as it will ever come
      F Fm C G Am
and believe you're where you are and keep acting out the part
           F C G
but at the end of the end of the day the trees all get wheeled away
              Am G C
and you'll be standing alone in a blank blank space

CHORUS (GENTLY)
   F Fm
so believe you're who you are
    C G Am
and stay in character
            F C G
but at the end of the play the audience walks away
              Am G C
and I'll be shivering cold on a well lit stage.

the first two Am in the chorus are just C chords I think. great job otherwise, a step above the tab with more reviews.
