Hey guys! This is a really awesome song by Britt Nicole called "When She Cries". Many
girls (and dudes!) struggle with self-mutilation and depression, but God is ALWAYS there.
He ALWAYS hears you, even when you think He doesn't. You're NEVER alone. Just remember that... :)
Not 100% sure about the bridge. I think it sounds right, but I'm not sure about the Am
or G. Let me know if you know the real chord.
Comment, rate, or add me! God Bless! :)

Capo on 2.

[Verse 1]

G D Em
  Little girl terrified
                 C D Em
She'd leave her room if only bruises would heal
G D Em
A home is no place to hide
              C D G
Her heart is breaking from the pain that she feels

[Chorus]

      Em C
Every day's the same
     G D
She fights to find her way
     Em C G D
She hurts, she breaks, she hides, and tries to pray
Am C Am C
She wonders why, does anyone ever hear her when she cries

[Verse 2]

G D Em
  Today she's turning sixteen
         C D Em
Everyone singing, but she can't seem to smile
G D Em
They never get past arms length
                C D G
How could they act like everything is alright?
G D Em
  Pulling down her long sleeves
          C D Em
To cover all the memories that scars leave
         G D Em
She says, "maybe making me bleed
            C D G
will be the answer that could wash the slate clean"

[Chorus]

      Em C
Every day's the same
     G D
She fights to find her way
     Em C G D
She hurts, she breaks, she hides, and tries to pray
Am C Am C
She wonders why, does anyone ever hear her when she cries

[Bridge]

             Am?
This is the dark before the dawn
     Em
The storm before the peace
      C D
Don't be afraid 'cause seasons change and
 G? D
God is watching over you
He hears you

[Chorus]

      Em C
Every day's the same
     G D
She fights to find her way
     Em C G D
She hurts, she breaks, she hides, and tries to pray
Am C Am C
She'll be just fine, cause I know He hears her when she cries

[Chorus]

      Em C
Every day's the same
     G D
She fights to find her way
     Em C G D
She hurts, she breaks, she hides, and tries to pray
Am C Am C
She'll be just fine, cause I know He hears her when she cries
Am C Am C
She'll be just fine, cause I know He hears her, when she cries

Remember: God loves you. He really does. I promise. :)

God Bless! :)

Thanks for putting this up! :D I really love this song. In the chorus though, It's Em7 and Cadd9 I'm pretty sure. Em and C work too, but they're just a little bit off. :)
