Something in the Water – Brooke Fraser

[Intro]

 F (C Csus4 x4)
Do do do do do do do do do do

[Verse]

  C F C
I wear a demeanor made of bright pretty things
         Am G C
What she wears, what she wears, what she wears
      C F C
Birds singing on my shoulder in harmony it seems
         Am G C
How they sing, how they sing, how they sing

F
Give me nights of solitude, red wine just a glass or two,
C
Reclined in a hammock on a balmy evening
F
I’ll pretend that it's no thing that's skipping my heart when I think
C G
Of you thinking of me babe I'm crazy over you

[Chorus]

Am C F C
Aaah Aaah Aaah Aaah
        F C F G
There's something in the water, something in the water
Am C F C
Aaah Aaah Aaah Aaah
        F C F G
There's something in the water, that makes me love you like –

[Verse]

         C F C
I've got halo's made of summer, rhythms made of spring
         Am G C
What she wears, what she wears, what she wears
      C F C
I got crowns of words a woven each one a song to sing
     Am G C
Oh I sing, oh I sing, oh I sing

F
Give me long days in the sun, preludes to the nights to come
C
Babies of the mornings laying in all lazy
F
Give me something fun to do like a life of loving you
C G
Kiss me quick now baby I'm still crazy over you

[Chorus]

Am C F C
Aaah Aaah Aaah Aaah
        F C F G
There's something in the water, something in the water
Am C F C
Aaah Aaah Aaah Aaah
        F C F G
There's something in the water, that makes me love you like I do
            C
Oooh oooh oooh
            F
Oooh oooh oooh
            C G/B
Oooh oooh oooh

[Bridge]

F
Give me nights of solitude
C
Red wine just a glass or two
F C G
Give me something fun to do

[Chorus]

Am C F C
Aaah Aaah Aaah Aaah
        F C F G

Aaah Aaah Aaah Aaah
        F C F G

Can you help me out for the fingering for csus4? It seems ridiculously hard in that intro to change to a bar chord on third fret so I must be doing something wrong?

Hey dude! I thought it was really hard too but you need to do do a Bar C Chord, and not the normal/easy C everyone seems to do. But, so what you wanna do, is keep the barred C on the usual 3rd and 5th frets, and then add your pinky to the B on 6th when it's needed. Or just switch from Bar C to the Csus4, whichever tickles your pickle! Have fun!
