Half Empty (Brother Hawk)

Listen to song for timing and strum pattern

[Intro]

 G D G Em G Em

[Verse 1]

      Em G
I've had my share of heartache

      C G
I've been bruised and beaten down

      Am C
I've spent lonley nights with no relief

      Em G
I've put loved ones in the ground

      C G
But I ain't never gone hungry,
      D G
I ain't been without a home

[Chorus]

D C Em
And all those times I couldn't overcome,
Am D
I only thought I was alone
    G
I guess my hard times
  D Em G
weren't so hard after all

[Verse 2]

     Em G
I got friends that struggle
     C G
A war in their own minds

     Am C
I wish they all could find the peace

     C G
That I've found in mine

     C G
And I might've gone crazy

     D G
But I ain't never stayed for long

[Chorus]

D C Em
And all those times I couldn't overcome,
   Am D
I only thought I was alone

    G
I guess my hard times,
    D Em G
weren't so hard after all

[Verse 3]

     C G
Sometimes I feel helpless

    D G
But I ain't lived without love

[Chorus]

 D C Em
And all those times I couldn't overcome,
Am D
I only thought I was alone

        G
I guess my hard times,
D Em
Weren't so hard after all

    G
I guess my hard times,
D Am C
Weren't so hard after all.....

Man you rock! I've been looking/waiting for this tab for nearly 2 years! I will say I don't think its perfect, but its pretty damn close. One thing that definitely isn't right is the transition from the verse to the chorus. The D chord that you have right at the beginning of the chorus should be a B (or maybe a Bm, I'm not totally sure). Also, I'd put that chord off the end of the last line in the verse, not on the first of the chorus. So it would go:

C G
But I ain't never gone hungry,
D G B/Bm
I ain't been without a home

[Chorus]

C Em
And all those times I couldn't overcome,

Hopefully I'm not overstepping my bounds here! Just trying to help! Other than that though this tab is pretty spot on. Thank you and nice job! Keep up the good work!
