Ok here is my impression of Year 3000 modified from the other version.
It's my first TAB so experiment with it if it needs it.

I play the chords like this:
B(bar) F#(bar) E Abm(bar)
EADGBE EADGBE EADGBE EADGBE
223332 244322 022100 466444

But you can play them anyway you like.

Wherever you see "/" I have just tried to give a guide to the rhythm.
Just play the last chord again.

Listen to the song and you'll get it.

[Verse 1]
B / F# /
One day, when I came home,
   E / E F#
At lunch time, I heard a funny noise,
  B / F# /
I went out, to the back yard,
   E / E F#
To find out, if it was one of those rowdy boys,
B / F# /
Stood there, was my neighbour,
       E / E F#
Called Peter, and a Flux Capacitor

[Bridge]
Abm F#
He told me he built a time machine,
              E
Like one in a film I've seen,
E
Yeah, yeah,

[Chorus]
             B F# E
He said I've been to the year 3000,
             B F# E
Not much has changed but they live underwater,
         B F# E
And your great, great, great, grand daughter,
              B F# E
Is pretty fine! (is pretty fine)

[Verse 2]
   B / F# /
He took me, to the future,
       E / E F#
In the Flux thing, and I saw everything,
B / F# /
Boy bands, and another one,
     E / E F#
And another one, and another one,
B / F# /
Triple, breasted women,
         E / E F#
Swimmin' round town, totally naked!

[Bridge]
Abm F#
He told me he built a time machine,
              E
Like one in a film I've seen,
E
Yeah, yeah,

[Chorus]
             B F# E
He said I've been to the year 3000,
             B F# E
Not much has changed but they live underwater,
         B F# E
And your great, great, great, grand daughter,
              B F# E
Is pretty fine! (is pretty fine)

[Bridge 2]
B / F# /
I took a trip to the year 3000,
E / E F#
This song had gone multi platinum,
B / F# /
Everybody bought our 7th album,
E /
It had outsold Michael Jackson,
B / F# /
I took a trip to the year 3000,
E / E F#
This song had gone multi platinum,
B / F# /
Everybody bought our 7th album,
E
7th album, 7th album...

[Bridge]
Abm F#
He told me he built a time machine,
              E
Like one in a film I've seen,
E
Yeah, yeah,

[Chorus] x4
             B F# E
He said I've been to the year 3000,
             B F# E
Not much has changed but they live underwater,
         B F# E
And your great, great, great, grand daughter,
              B F# E
Is pretty fine! (is pretty fine)

Hurray! Somone who knows what a minor chord is!!

No, the E chord is major, for sure!

We are in the key of B, so it's technically G# minor.

It's good to find a correct chord sheet for once
