                             The Winter - Cake
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tabbed by: hamadad

Even though it is mainly a piano-song, I tried to pick out the chords for playing
it with a guitar.
This is my very first tab and I'm not sure at certain parts, but I think it sounds
all right this way.
The d^3 means that I'm changing the chord from d (000231) to 002030 (I don't know
wich chord that is)

Verse 1
     G D A
The winter's chill chilled me to the bone this year
      C F G
And something in my mind just got away
 G D A
Being in the places where we used to be
         C F G
Somehow being there without you's not the same.

 G D A
Parking lots, office parks and shopping malls
     C F G
And all you left were bills you hadn't paid.
     G D A
The winter's chill chilled me to the bone this year
      C F G
And something in my mind just got away

Chorus:
      F C D G
It's all behind you now, It's all behind you
        F C D G
You're moving on, You're moving on
         F C D G
They'll never find you now, They'll never find you
         F D^3 D^3 D^3
You're moving on, on, on.
 F D G
Daaaah dah dah dah dah dah dah,
 F D G
Daaaah dah dah dah dah dah dah,
 F G
Daaaaa, dah dah daaa

Verse 2
 G D A
Alcohol, cigarettes and luxury goods,
 C F G
Christmas lights look desperate in this room.
 G D A
Winter's light left me in the dark last night
     C F G
And Jingle Bells are smothered in this gloom.

 G D A
Winter's trees freezing in the bitter wind
     C F G
And autumn's leaves have all been blown away.
 G D A
Being in the places where we used to be
         C F G
Somehow being there without you's not the same.

2xChorus

This by far my favorite CAKE song, i've been looking every for this tab.
There is something wrong of course. Since this song is on piano, your going to have to pick the chords, since a full strum on the guitar will give it too much of a ring. I recommend picking the triads out on each chord.
Great song, Great tab. 5/5

Thanks for comment. There is something wrong with this Tab, which happened in the upload-process:
D is always a d-minor and A always a-minor.

I changed my way of playing this song to picking the chords, too. I will upload a change soon, since I do not know how to edit a tab.

I don't think it's exactly mostly piano song but rather a mostly bass guitar song.
