Before He Cheats---Carrie Underwood

Capo #2

[Intro]

Em G D C Em G D C

[Verse 1]

Em G D
Right now he's probably slow dancing with a bleached-blond tramp,
          C
and she's probably getting frisky
Em G D
right now, he's probably buying her some fruity little drink cause she
C
can't shoot whiskey
Em G D
       C
Right now, he's probably up behind her with a pool-stick, showing her how to shoot a cowbow
             D
And he don't know

[Chorus]

       C Em C Em
That I dug my key into the side of his pretty little sooped up four wheel drive,
C Em D
carved my name into his leather seat
         C Em
I took a Louisville slugger to both head lights,
C Em
slashed a hole in all 4 tires
    C D Em
And maybe next time he'll think before he cheats.

[Verse 2]

Em G
Right now, she's probably up singing some
D C
white-trash version of Shania kareoke
Em G
Right now, she's probably saying "I'm drunk"
D C
and he's a thinking that he's gonna lucky,
Em G D C
Right now, he's probably dabbing 3 dollars worth of that bathroom Polo
             D
And he don't know

[Chorus]
        C Em C Em
That I dug my key into the side of his pretty little sooped up four wheel drive,
C Em D
carved my name into his leather seat,
         C Em
I took a Louisville slugger to both head lights,
C Em
slashed a hole in all 4 tires
C D Em
And maybe next time he'll think before he cheats.

[Bridge]

G D C
I might of saved a little trouble for the next girl,
                                     D
Cause the next time that he cheats
                            Em D C D
Oh, you know it won't be on me!
             Em D C G D
Ohh...not on me

[Chorus]
        C Em C Em
I dug my key into the side of his pretty little sooped up four wheel drive,
C Em D
carved my name into his leather seat,
         C Em
I took a Louisville slugger to both head lights,
C Em
slashed a hole in all 4 tires
C D Em
And maybe next time he'll think before he cheats.

C D Em
Maybe next time he'll think before he cheats.
      C D Em DC D
Ohh.. Maybe next time he'll think before he cheats
     C Em
Ohh...before he cheats

I tried it out and it sounds good except you might wanna try replacing the D before the chorus with a B, as well as at the chord changes at "seat" and "think" . Also, try adding a C after "combo"
rock on and god bless

IMO it sounds a little flatter compared to some of the other versions I've tried, but it's also significantly easier to play (simpler chords, etc). Great job
