Intro: F C G F F C G F

Verse 1:
    F C G F
One foot on the bus about half past nine
  F C G F
I knew that you were leaving this time
  F C G F
I thought about laying down in its path
F C G F
Thinking that you might get off for that

Verse 2:
I remember that night we laid in bed
Naming all our kids that we hadn't had yet
One for your grandma and one for mine
Said we'd draw straws when it came time

Am G C F
I'll move on baby just like you
         F C G
When the desert floods and the grass turns blue
       Am G C F
When a sailing ship don't need a moon
      F C G
It'll break my heart but I'll get through

(1st time)
    F G Am G C F F C G F
(2nd time)
    F G [break]
(3rd time)
    F G F (skip to last line)
Someday when I stop loving you

Verse 3:
I bet all I had on a thing called love
I guess in the end it wasn't enough
And it's hard to watch you leave right now
I'm gonna have to learn to let you go somehow

The chord exchages here are wrong in the verse it starts in FMajor then walks up back tO FMajor. So there is no C OR G major being played. In the chorus above the words blue and through is d minor. There is no Am above the word sailingLines 2 and four in chorus are like Verse walk about about then the same with the bridge. You could probably get away with playing these chords if you have a band to back you up
