BEHIND CLOSED DOORS - Charlie Rich
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Words and music by Kenny O'Dell

Capo on 1st fret if you want to play to the music
Key: C# Major then D major 1:21 halfway through the song

VERSE:

C F G C
My baby makes me proud, Lord don't she make me proud
    C F G D7 G7
She never makes a scene by hanging all over me in a crowd
       C F G C
'Cause people like to talk, Lord, how they love to talk
              C Dm F G7 C
But when they turn out the lights, I know she'll be leaving with me

CHORUS:
                  F G C
And when we get behind closed doors
                  F G C
Then she lets her hair hang down
                 F Em Dm
And she makes me glad that I'm a man
   Dm Em F G Dm Em F G C
Oh no one knows what goes on behind closed doors.

Here the song changes key by a half step (or semi-tone)
Move your capo to the second fret to play this part

VERSE:

   C F G C
My baby makes me smile, Lord don't she make me smile
                            F G D7 G7
She's never too far away or too tired to say "I want you"
      C F G C
She's always a lady, just like a lady should be
              C Dm F G7 C
But when they turn out the lights, she's still a baby to me.

Repeat chorus --

Random piano intro on guitar (no capo), not perfect, but close enough

This is the same piano part but an octave lower.
Make sure you play this with a capo on the first fret for it to be in the same key as the song.

It be nice to tab out the beginning notes to the song in the upper 5 fretts of the guitar to make it easier for the not so advanced guitarist, but thanks for what you have

Thank you Thank you sooooo much. Acoustic guitars are hard to play down at the 12 frets. I put a tab on UG for Walkin after midnight by patsy cline, It was approved and dont know where its located, but if you would want it let me know, Rob at FL_Bob2002 at yahoo.
