I actually do a climb from G - Csus2. I just didn't want to write it all out at first :P.

On the intro I strum only the first three strings. On the end of each section of the 
you give a strum of the last three strings. You can play this while singing the verse as well.

i have a suggestion on the verse:

G *C2 G

if the comment got screwed up and the chords aren't where they should be, i just added the C2's when you start singing "wait" and then went back to G on "Lord". like i said... it's just a suggestion. i'm not correcting anything because it's fine the way it is! :)
