Strumming
There is no strumming pattern for this song yet. and get +5 IQ
- Emphasise the bass strings on the chords to get as close to the song as possible.
- I like the voicings the sus chords give, but if you're not a fan then just stick to straight A's and D's.
- I'm not sure that t C#m in the bridge is right, so suggestions for that one welcome.

A

Asus2 A
I gave up on time
Asus2 A
Just like you said you would
Asus2 A Asus2
There are tiny cracks of light underneath me
A F#m
And you say I got it wrong
Dsus2 Asus2 A Asus2 A
But I tried hard to uncover them

Asus2 A
I have somehow got
Asus2 A
Away with everything
Asus2 A Asus2 A
Anything you ever did was strictly by design
                 F#m
But you got it wrong
Dsus2 Asus2 A Asus2 A
And I'll go anywhere but there

E
And you had best believe
                  F#m
That you cannot build what I don't need
      Dsus2 D
And I know I need to feel relief
        E
And I know you'll never fold
                 F#m
But I believe nothing that I'm told
        Dsus2 D
And I know I need to feel relief

    E A
I know I need to feel released
D
Take care to tell it just how as it was
D
Take care to tell on me for the cause
     E (Asus2)A
I know I need to feel released
D
Take care to bury all that you can
D
Take care to leave a trace of a man

Asus2 A
I will show restraint
Asus2 A
Just like we said we should
Asus2 A Asus2 A
You think I'll apologize for things I left behind
                F#m
But you got it wrong
D Asus2 A Asus2 A
And I'm as sane as I ever was

Asus2 A
You talk far too much
Asus2 A
For someone so unkind
Asus2 A Asus2
I will wipe the salt off of my skin
            A F#m
And I'll admit that I got it wrong
D Asus2 A Asus2 A
And there is grey between the lines

E
And you had best believe
                  F#m
That you cannot build what I don't need
        Dsus2 D
And I know I need to feel relief
        E
And I know you'll never fold
                 F#m
But I believe nothing that I'm told
        Dsus2 D
And I know I need to feel relief

    E A
I know I need to feel released
D
Take care to tell it just how as it was
D
Take care to tell on me for the cause
    E (Asus2)A
I know I need to feel released
D
Take care to bury all that you can
D
Take care to leave a trace of a man

F#m C#m A D
I know, I know, I know, I know
F#m C#m A D
I know, I know, I know, I know

    E A
I know I need to feel released
D
Take care to tell it just how as it was
D
Take care to tell on me for the cause
    E (Asus2)A
I know I need to feel released
D
Take care to bury all that you can
D
Take care to leave a trace of a man

(Repeat above chorus chords as part of instrumental)

F#m C#m A D
I know, I know, I know, I know

First off, thanks for the tab! Though I think that the C#m is a Bm. Great job though!

Try F#, Ab, A, Db, D for the bridge.
This would work a lot better in Drop D tuning, the chorus really benefits from that low D.
