Chords Used:
Em 022000
C: 032010
G:320033
G/F#:200033
GM:554030

   Em
I awoke
C G
Only to find my lungs empty
   G/F# Em
And through the night
     C G
So it seems I'm not breathing
   G/F# Em C G
And now my dreams are nothing like they were meant to be
     G/F# Em C G
And I'm breaking down, I think I'm breaking down

G/F# Em
And I'm afraid
     C G G/F#
To sleep because of what haunts me
     Em C G G/F#
Such as living with the uncertainty
         Em C
That I'll never find the words to say
            G G/F#
Which would completely explain
Em C G G/F#* Palm Muted
       Just how I'm breaking down

GM Em C
Someone come and, someone come and save my life
           GM Em
Maybe I'll sleep when I am dead
                       C
But now it's like the night is taking sides
      GM Em C
With all the worries that occupy the back of my mind
         GM Em C
Could it be this misery will suffice?

 G/F# Em
I've become
  C G G/F#
A simple souvenir of someone's kill
             Em
And like the sea
    C G G/F#
I'm constantly changing from calm to ill
Em C G G/F# Em
Madness fills my heart and soul as if the great divide could swallow me whole
C G
  oh, how I'm breaking down

GM Em C
Someone come and, someone come and save my life
           GM Em
Maybe I'll sleep when I am dead
                       C
But now it's like the night is taking sides
      GM Em C
With all the worries that occupy the back of my mind
        GM Em C
Could it be this misery will suffice?

GM Em C
Someone come and, someone come and save my life (save my life)
GM Em C
Someone come and, someone come and save my life (save my life)
GM Em C
Someone come and, someone come and save my life
         GM Em C
Could it be this misery will suffice?

It's not a Gminor, not even close. its a D rooted chord, ive seen it called a few things. its essentially a D though, just played like a C chord up two frets.

Really I'm pretty sure it's a C/G played 2 frets up as opposed to the C alone up to 2 frets. Either way though, the finger positioning shown sounds good.
