Hi! This is my first tab. I'm an amateur guitar player so I find it hard to follow
along hard chords and tabs submitted here, so I decided to help people like me who
just wants the regular "easy" "beginner" chords. So here you go, Wake Up by Coheed
and Cambria from their album Good Apollo, I'm Burning Star IV, Volume One: From
Fear Through the Eyes of Madness.

Standard Tuning. Basically, throughout the whole song is just the same as the
intro, except for the chorus.

Intro : E-- B F# (2x)
Chorus : B F# C#m E (2x)

E B F#
I'm going to ride this plane out of your life again.

E B F#
I wish that I could stay but you argue.

E B F#
More than this I wish you could've seen my face

E B F#
In backseat staring out the window.

E B F#
  I'll do anything for you,

E B F#
  Kill anyone for you.

E B F#
So leave yourself intact 'cause I will be coming back.

E B F#
In a phrase to cut these lips, I love you.

B F#
  The morning will come

           C#m
In the press of every kiss

             E
With your head upon my chest

B F#
  Where I will annoy you

       C#m
  With every waking breath

         E
Until you decide to wake up.

E B F#
I've earned through hope and faith of the curves around your face

E B F#
That I'm the one you'll hold forever.

E B F#
If morning never comes for either one of us,

E B F#
Then this I pray to you wherever.

E B F#
  I'll do anything for you.

E B F#
  This story is for you.

('Cause I'd do anything you want me to... for you.)

E B F#
  I'll do anything for you,

E B F#
  Kill anyone for you.

E B F#
So leave yourself intact 'cause I won't be coming back.

E B F#
In a phrase to cut these lips, I loved you.

B F#
  The morning will come

          C#m
In the press of every kiss

             E
With your head upon my chest

B F#
  Where I will annoy you

        C#m
  With every waking breath

          E
Until you decide to wake up.

B F#
  The morning will come

          C#m
In the press of every kiss

             E
With your head upon my chest

B F#
  Where I will annoy you

        C#m
  With every waking breath

          E
Until you decide to wake up.

Not bad dude. Word of advice for new players, if you see a lot of sharps and B chords, chances are you're a tuning too high. Try dropping your tuning a half step down; your B's will become C's, your F#'s will become G's, it's much easier to play this way. Don't give up and keep on rockin!

On this album, the band tunes 1/2 step down, to Eb tuning. The above poster gives sound advice.
