This is one of my favorite songs to sing and play on the acoustic.

It's the Coldplay bside Help Is Round The Corner!

Normally this song is in open C# tuning just like God Put A Smile Upon Your Face,
but I figured out a way to get almost the exact same results with a capo and
tuning your E down to C#.

Ok so first tune your low E to C#.

Now grab your capo and put it on reverse,
so that the first five EBGDA strings are capo'd on the first fret.

Make sure you have the low C# uncapo'd and that everything rings out clearly without buzzing.

Notes are NOT tabbed relative to the capo!

So 1's on the first 5 strings are opens on the capo.

Now here are the chords!

 E|--1--------1--------1--------1--------1-------x--------|
 B|--2--------2--------2--------2--------2-------6--------|
 G|--1--------3--------1--------3--------3-------6--------|
 D|--3--------3--------3--------4--------1-------6--------|
 A|--4--------4--------4--------x--------1-------8--------|
C#|--0--------0--------4--------5--------2-------7--------|
    C# C#6 C#/F F#M7 D#7sus2 C#/G#

C# C#6

C# C#6

C# C#6
Stuck here, in the middle of nowhere
       C# C#6
With a headache, and a heavy heart
      C# C#6
Well, nothing was going quite right here
        C# C#6
And I'm tired, I can't play my part

C#/F F#M7
          Oh, come on, come on
           D#7sus2
Oh, what a state I'm in
F#M7
     Oh, come on, come on
             D#7sus2
Why won't it just sink in?

     C# C#/F C#/G#
That help is just around the corner for us

     C# C#/F C#/G#

    C# C#6
Oh, my head won't stop aching
        C# C#6
And I'm sat here, licking my wounds
        C# C#6
And I'm shattered, but it really doesn't matter
         C# C#6
Cause my rescue is gonna be here soon

C#/F F#M7
          Oh, come on, come on
           D#7sus2
Oh, what a state I'm in
F#M7
     Oh, come on, come on
             D#7sus2
Why won't it just sink in?

     C# C#/F C#/G#
That help is just around the corner for us

     C# C#/F C#/G#

     C# C#/F C#/G#
That help is just around the corner for us

     C# D#7sus2

     F#M7 C#/G# C#
That help is just around the corner for us

I'd say it's pretty accurate, although I had to compromise a bit with the C#/G# chord,
because the actual chord in this tuning would be impossible to play. :(

Enjoy! =D

Really good work, but i cant get a grip of hitting the C# string at the 5th fret with the F#m7 chord, maybe my hand isn't fully grown yet:p (don't know if that is a valid excuse) Yet again Great work it blended in perfectly with the real song.

this is good, but I personally I would change the D#7sus2 a little, and I like to hit the C#/G# differently too: E|-----1-------x--------| B|-----2-------0--------| G|-----3-------0--------| D|-----5-------0--------| A|-----1-------8--------|C#|-----2-------7--------| D#7sus2 C#/G#
