In the video his guitar is tuned a full step down, so his capo is on 3. For standard tuning, the capo would be on 1. This is a "murder ballad" in the tradition of Marty Robins El Paso, so there isn't really any chorus, just all verses. Notice in the 3rd and 4th verse how the structure is exactly the same for the first four lines, but in verse 3 and 4, lines 2 and 4 are played only, with no words, where verses 1 ans 2 have actual words in lines 1 and 2..
