Strumming
There is no strumming pattern for this song yet. and get +5 IQ
(optional) Capo on 1st fret.

Doesn't sound 100% right when playing along with the song,
but when you're playing this on a guitar and singing with it,
it nails it. I find this way a lot easier to play than the other
versions of this tab on here. Listen to the song for the rhythm.
The F and the G in the verse are played quickly after each other.

INTRO
Dm C Am G
Ah Ah Ah Ah

Dm C Am G Em
Ah Ah Ah Ah Ah

VERSE
     Am C D F G Am C D F
In a white room with black curtains near the stations

 G Am C D F G Am C D F
Blackroof country, no gold pavements, tired starlings,

 G Am C D F G Am C D F
Silver horses run down moonbeams in your dark eyes.

 G Am C D F G Am C D F
Dawnlight smiles on your leaving, my contentment.

I'll wait in this place where the sun never shines.

 G D F G A A
Wait in this place where the shadows run from themselves.

VERSE
     Am C D F G Am C D F
You said no strings could secure you at the stations.

 G Am C D F G Am C D F
Platform ticket, restless diesels, goodbye windows.

 G Am C D F G Am C D F
I walked into such a sad time at the station.

 G Am C D F G Am C D F
As I walked out felt my own need just beginning.

I'll wait in the queue when the trains come back

Yellow tigers crouched in jungles in her dark eyes

She's just dressing goodbye windows, tired starlings

Lie in the dark where the shadows run from themselves
