[Verse 1]

G C G
Long as I remember the rain been comin' down
G C G
Clouds of mystery pourin' confusion on the ground

Good men through the ages
C G
Tryin' to find the sun

And I wonder still I wonder

Caught up in the fable I watched the tower grow

Five-year plans and new deals
C G
Wrapped in golden chains

Still the rain kept pourin'

Fallin on my ears

"on 'pourin', 'fable' and 'together' it should be a D."

I wondered about the chords for this part too, because the melody in each verse is the same and yet the chord progression is marked differently. But if you listen carefully that's how CCR plays it. V1,line2 they stay on G for 2 bars. V2 and V3 they lift to a new chord and I agree with Bm.

Nice tab.
