Saw a request for this the other day so I thought I'd give it a try.
No guarantees since I figured it out by ear, but comments and corrections are
welcome.

                        DISTANT SUN

Crowded House from "Together Alone"

* capo 1st fret *

Intro: D G D G D G D G

D G
Tell me all the things you would change
  D G
I don't pretend to know what you want
         Bm E
When you come around and (spin my top??)
              G F#
Time and again, time and again

     D G
No fire where I lit my spark
D G
I am not afraid of the dark
       Bm E
Where your words devour my heart
                   G
And put me to shame, put me to shame

Chorus:

    A Em
Your seven worlds collide
     G A D
Whenever I am by your side
   A Em
Dust from a distant sun
       G A D G D G
Will shower over everyone

You're still so young to travel so far
Old enough to know who you are
Wise enough to carry the scars
Without any blame, there's no-one to blame

It's easy to forget what you learnt
Waiting for the thrill to return
Feeling your desire burn
And drawn to the flame

Dust from a distant sun
        G A
Will shower over everyone

         Bm A G A Bm
And I'm lying on the table washed out in the flood
       A G A
Like a Christian fearing vengeance from above
   Bm A G
I don't pretend to know what you want
                   A
But (I offer love?)

  A Em G A D A Em G A D

Seven worlds will collide
Whenever I am by your side
Dust from a distant sun
       G A D F# G
Will shower over everyone
            Bm F# G
As time slips by ...
            D F# G
            Bm F# G

This is right, but I think it is capo 3 with everything down a tone from here (i.e. C, F, C, F) ... the only reason I say this is because then you can get that Csus2 --> C --> Csus2 progression that you can definitely hear at the start of the song.

you can do that with capo on first fret too just play dsus2 in open position

You are spot on, you can clearly hear the tone is coming from a the sus2 transition with a capo on 3rd
