how to read this tab
guitar tuner
set tempo
This is 90% accurate, and it's the best I can get to perfect without seeing him play it

Tuning: E->C# A->G# D->C# G->G# B->C# e->C# (Like the tuning for Screaming Infidelities

I'm not exactly sure the name of these chords, if you know what they are please E-Mail
me at Darkangel05@spymac.com

      1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9

Here's the lyrics with the number of the chord to play above them. Now these ARE 100% accurate.

The numbers were placed above the syllable of the word where it's started in the song
to help you with the timing a little, the ones after the words were kinda just put in.
I tried to space them to show which were farther apart than the rest, but you'll have
to play along with the song a few times to get it right.

1 2
I'm always assuming the worst
But you're going on nonetheless
                                    4 5 2
And there's nothing to cushion your heart-lead fall
1 2
Letters from further away
Keep pulling me close to home
                                    4 5 2
And they're something to cushion my callous eyes
And I know that you hope for
2 3
Longer goodbyes
Embracing for forever
    5 2 1
And falling in your eyes
In your eyes
     3 4 5 2 1
Your eyes
        6 7
Pouring over photographs
    6 8
I'm living in your letters
1 6
Breathe deeply from this envelope

It smells like you and
I can't be
Without that scent
It's filling me
1 6
With all you mean to me
   7 6 8
To me
1 2
Continually failing these trials
But you stand by me nonetheless
And you won't let me sink
Though I'm begging you
    5 2 1
I'm begging you
Phonecalls from further away
And messages on my machine

But I don't ever tell you
This distance
      5 2 1
Seems terrible
And there's no need to test my heart
With useless space
These roads go on forever
         5 2 1
There'll always be a place
For you
      3 4 5 2 9 6 7 6 8 7 6 9 6 7 6 8 7 6
In my heart
So I'll hit the pavement
6 7 6 8 7 6
It's gotta be better than waitin'
    9 6
And pusing you
7 6
Far away
8 7 6
'Cause I'm scared
   9 6 7
So I'll take my chances and head on
My way
8 7 6
Up there
      9 6
Cause turning to you is like
7 6 8 7 6
Falling in love when you're ten

Then it's 9, 2 palm mute strokes and then the final stroke is 000004

Just listen to the song for the rhythm and you're set. I couldn't find this tab anywhere
so I hope you guys like it, it's a beautiful song and fairly easy to play when you get
the hang of it.

I like it. Makes a beautiful song easy enough to play in a heartbeat. Well, a couple heartbeats, once you get the damn guitar tuned right :P. I was looking at it, and the only suggestion I could make is for Chord #5. Rather than 0-7-0-0-0-0, it sounds to me like you need that third in there... try 0-0-4-0-0-0, it sounds wicked. Peace.
