I didn't bother getting too fancy with this 'cause I radically
alter his version when I play it. Verse chords aren't the same chords
for the solos. Oh, well.

I Hear You Knocking
Dave Edmunds

A - B - E - A/Bb/B

[Verse 1]
E
You went away and left long time ago

Now your knocking on my door
           A
I hear you knocking
                   E
But you can't come in
           A
I hear you knocking
                  B
Go back where you been

[Verse 2]
I begged you not to go but you said goodbye
Now your telling me all your lies
I hear you knocking
But you can't come in
I hear you knocking
Go back where you been

[Solo]

[Verse 3]
You better get back to your used to be
'Cause your kind of love ain't good for me
I hear you knocking
But you can't come in
I hear you knocking
Go back where you been

[Verse 4]
I told you way back in '52
That I would never go with you
I hear you knocking
But you can't come in
I hear you knocking
Go back where you been

He had the right chords for the verse, just not where to play them on the fretboard and the rhythm, lol. Oh, no chord (at least) for the solo either. I guess you're right lpwine, What's the point? lol...
