Okay, this is one of my favorite songs, but I couldn't find a tab out there
that would satisfy me enough, so I made one myself. It's the first one so
don't be too cruel ;) I'd appreciate your comments, however.

INTRO

  Guitar 1 (4x):
    Em C B/C Bm
e|-------------------------------|

D|-----9\----5--5--5----5--4--4/-|
A|--7--7\---3--3--3--2-----2--2/-|
E|--0----------------------------|

after 2x, Guitar 2 adds twice:
e|---------------------------------10--12--|

A|-----------------------------------------|
E|-----------------------------------------|

VERSE 1

  Guitar 1 (4x):
e|-------------------------------|
B|-----0-------------------------|
G|-----9\----5--5--5----5--4--4/-|
D|-----9\----5--5--5----5--4--4/-|
A|--7--7\---3--3--3--2-----2--2/-|
E|--0----------------------------|

Look at this big eyed fish swimming in the sea oh
How it dreams to be a bird swoop and diving through the breeze
So one day caught a big old wave up on to the beach
Now he's dead you see beneath the sea is where a fish should be.

CHORUS

Em-----C----G---------------Bm--------------|
But oh God, under the weight of life
Things seem brighter on the other side.

VERSE 2

  Guitar 1 (4x):
e|-------------------------------|
B|-----0-------------------------|
G|-----9\----5--5--5----5--4--4/-|
D|-----9\----5--5--5----5--4--4/-|
A|--7--7\---3--3--3--2-----2--2/-|
E|--0----------------------------|

after 2x, Guitar 2 adds twice:
e|---------------------------------10--12--|
B|-----------------------------12----------|
G|---7--9--11--12--14--12--14--------------|
D|-----------------------------------------|
A|-----------------------------------------|
E|-----------------------------------------|

You see this crazy man decided not to breathe
He turned red and blue - purple, colorful indeed
No matter how his friends begged and pleaded the man would not concede
And now he’s dead you see the silly man should know you got to breathe.

CHORUS

Em-----C------------G---------------Bm------------|
But oh God, under the weight of life
Things seem brighter on the other side.
Oh God, under the weight of life
Things seem so much better on the other side.

  Guitar 1:
D--G----D--G----D--G---D/F#--Dsus/F#-|
No way, no way, no way out of

Em--C--G--Bm--Em--C--G--Bm-|
here.

When Dave sings "here", Guitar 2 adds twice:
e|---------------------------------10--12--|
B|-----------------------------12----------|

D|-----------------------------------------|
A|-----------------------------------------|
E|-----------------------------------------|

D|-----------------------------------------|
A|-----------------------------------------|
E|-----------------------------------------|

You see the little monkey sitting up in his monkey tree
One day decided to climb down and run off to the city
But look at him now lost tired living in the street
As good as dead you see what a monkey does - stay up your tree.

CHORUS

Em-----C------------G---------------Bm------------|
But oh God, under the weight of life
Things seem brighter on the other side.
Oh God, under the weight of life
Things seem so much better on the other side.

  Guitar 1:

great tab man. the only thing i would change is that first of all, the part where you have:::
e|---------------------------------10--12--|
B|-----------------------------12----------|
G|---7--9--11--12--14--12--14--------------|
D|-----------------------------------------|
A|-----------------------------------------|
E|-----------------------------------------|
it is played on a violin by plucking. however if u want to play it on a guitar, it is a lot easier to play:::
e|------------------------------12------|
B|------------------------12-15---------|
G|---------11-12-14-12-14---------------|
D|---12-14------------------------------|
A|--------------------------------------|
E|--------------------------------------|
its just easier to play that way and sounds a bit better. but great job.
