DANCING NANCIES (Dave Matthews) [acoustic live with Tim Reynolds] [AL#13]

(i think it could be a good version for beginners)

intro: G5 F#5 (pick or p.m.)
I wonder if maybe I could have been a comedian or something
Or maybe I could have been a doctor
And then I could make anyone laugh
Or could I have been somebody
Other than myself
I wonder sometimes
I wonder

verse: G F#
G F# G
He stands touch his hair his shoes untied
         F#
Tongue gaping stare
                    G F#
Could I have been a magnet for money?
                  G F#
Could I have been anyone other than me?

G F#
Twenty three and so tired of life
G F#
Such a shame...to throw it all away
                G F#
The images grow darker still
                  G F#
Could I have been anyone other than me?

And then I... (*)

chorus:
                 D*
I look up at the sky
                     A* D*
And my mouth is open wide, lick and taste
                  A* D* A*
What's the use in worrying? What's the use in hurrying?
D* F# G*
Turn, turn, we almost become dizzy

verse: G F# (4x)
G F# G F#
I am who I am who I am, well...who am I?
                  G F#
Requesting some enlightenment
                  G F#
Could I have been anyone other than me?

And then I'll...

bridge:
Bm D A
Sing and dance...I'll play for you tonight
              C#m
The thrill of it all
Bm D A
Dark clouds may hang on me sometimes
              C#m
But I'll work it out

And then I... (*)

chorus:
                      D*
Will I look up at the sky
                     A* D*
And my mouth is open wide, lick and taste
                  A* D* A*
What's the use in worrying? What's the use in hurrying?
D* F# G*
Turn, turn, we almost become dizzy

verse: G F# (4x)
G F# G F#
Falling out of a world of lies
                          G F# G F#
Well, could I have been a Dancing Nancy?
  G F# G F#
A Dancing Nancy...(ooh, I could have been anyone)
                  G F#
Could I have been anyone other than me?

And then I'll...

bridge:
Bm
Sing and dance...
D A C#m
La la la la hey, la la la la hey, la la la la
Bm
Sing and dance...
D A C#m
La la la la hey, la la la la hey, la la la la
Bm D A
Sing and dance...I'll play for you tonight
              C#m
The thrill of it all
Bm D A
Dark clouds may hang on me sometimes
              C#m
But I'll work it out

And then I... (*)

chorus:
                 D*
I look up at the sky
                     A* D*
And my mouth is open wide, lick and taste
                  A* D* A*
What's the use in worrying? What's the use in hurrying?
D* F# G*
Turn, turn, we almost become dizzy

ireally like this tab but the C#m seems funny. maybe i'm funny though. I only know the original version however, not the acoustic. Still a 5!
