Band: David Crowder Band
Song: How He Loves
Email: rumpster.r@gmail.com

Here are the power chords for the song. Generally you would want to play this on an
electric guitar behind an acoustic. I play it with a "Crunch" distortion, pretty much just
clean with an echo or reverb, but this would work with higher distortion as well.

Note: These power chords really only work if the rhythm guitar is playing the chords: C
Am G F. If your guitarist is not playing those chords, this won't work!

Tuning: Standard (EADGBe)

Time: 4/4

Chords used:

C5: XX553X
A5: XX220X
G5: XXX553
F5: XXX331

Palm-mute the entire first verse

Realize just how beautiful You are and how great Your affections are for me

The Pre-Chorus and Chorus are both played open (no palm-mute)

Pre-Chorus:
    C5
And O how He loves us
A5 G5
Oh, O how He loves us
                F5
How He loves us all

Chorus:
        C5
Yeah He loves us
         A5
O how He loves us
         G5
O how He loves us
         F5

Verse 2:
C5
We are His portion and He is our prize
A5
Drawn to redemption by the grace in His eyes
   G5 F5
If grace is an ocean, we're all sinking
   C5
So Heaven meets earth like an unforeseen kiss
       A5
And my heart turns violently inside of my chest
        G5
I don't have time to maintain these regrets
       F5
When I think about the way...

This is not exactly how David Crowder* Band does it, but it is a good version to use for worship. Nice job.
