this song is not capo'ed nor is it played in Em7 more life Am. Transpose this to Am and with no capo and its perfect.

This tuning is not incorrect it is just voiced higher than the standard tuning. The song is in the key of C just like a lot of Crowder's music meaning that without the capo the chording would be Am, F, C, and G, which is exactly what the recording sounds like.

Like callmebobzilla wrote the tuning is correct, just a different voicing. Capo 5 in The key of G, like it's written here, is The key of C or Am like dshepjr wrote. Take G raise it up 5 steps (G) G#,A,A#,B,(C) There you have it. Or if you are looking at it in a minor point of view (Em) Fm,F#m,Gm,G#m,(Am). In case you lack a concept of Music Theory, the musical alphabet is A,A#/Bb,B,C,C#/Db,D,D#/Eb,E,F,F#/Gb,G,G#/Ab. It then repeats
