Intro: E B F#m A x 2 E

Verse 1:
                 B
I never made time
                         F#m
You never made much sense
                       A
We never stood a chance
               E
If we're honest
                      B
You were not the first
                       F#m
And I won't be the last
                         A
But if it makes it better
                                  E
Well you can call me what you will

Pre-chorus 1:
             B
Get home late
             F#m
No-one's here
                     A
Pace around the house
                   E
And sit in my chair
                      B
And if you think of me
                       F#m
It doesn't mean a thing
                       A B
So why don't you just tell me what you really think again?

Chorus:
                      A
I don't care what you call me
    B A
Oh, I, I don't care what you call me.
    B A
No, I, I don't care what you call me,
(no chord) E E
'Cause it won't hurt any more.

Verse 2:
                     B
I know I let you down
                           F#m
And Christ, you let me know
                A E
Every time, and time again
                      B
Just another afternoon
                       F#m
Get drunk and disappear
                         A E
So call me what you will.

Pre-chorus 2:
               B
Rain it on down,
                  F#m
What else can you throw at me
                   A E
I haven't heard before?
                   B
And tear me on down,
               F#m
Well I am unforgivable,
                      A B
So why don't you just tell me what you really think again?

Chorus: x 1

Solo: (with Harmonica as lead)

F#m A E E7
F#m A E B7

Pre-chorus 2: x 1 E

                 B
Scream me on down
           F#m
I am so forgettable
            A E
Well, yes I know
                     B
Well shoot me on down
                           F#m
Don't you think this isn't killing me?
                  A B
It's no more than I deserve

Chorus: x 1

For the part where you say no chord, he's picking notes up the scale: F#-G#-A-B, and then an E chord. Like this:

F# G# A B E chord
Cause it won't hurt anymore.

Sorry, that was supposed to be spaced out. The F# is supposed to be with it, G# with won't, A with hurt, B with anymore, and then an E chord after all that.
