VERSE 1:
Em/G Am
Remember that night,
      Cmaj7/G Bm7 Em/G
White steps in the moonlight.
               Am
They walked here too,
              Cmaj7/G Bm7 B7 Em/G
Through empty playground, this ghost's town.
          Am Cmaj7/G Bm7 Em/G
Children again on rusting swings, getting higher,
          Am
Sharing a dream,
      Cmaj7/G Bm7 B7
On an Island. It felt right.
   Em* Bm
We lay side by side,
            Dm* Am
Between the moon and the tide.
Cm Gm A
Mapping the stars for a while.

Though the church was deserted.

NOTES:
1. Apologies for the nomenclature, but some of the simplest chords have terribly long names.
2. Additionally, this is how it sounds - to me.
3. Much of the album was recorded in Gilmour's private studio aboard his houseboat ‘Astoria’.

Came here from the "simple" version, I like this one more.

One thing I add is a F# note with the Bm7 as a bass note, it really sounds nice and full when you go G-F# on the bass notes, you can even do the G-F#-G bass line rhythm if you like.
