Chords:

   D D6 G A Bm F# E/D Em

-|-3-|--3--|-3-|-2-|--3--|--2--|--3--|--0--
-|-2-|--2--|-0-|-2-|--4--|--3--|--1--|--0--

-|-0-|--2--|-2-|-0-|--2--|--4--|--2--|--2--

You'll need to listen in closely to hear how it changes from D to D6 and back; the
pattern is the same throughout the song.

INTRO: D D6 D D6

- VERSE 1 -

D D6 D D6
Weight on my shoulders
D D6 D D6
But I'm walking so tall
G D D6 D D6
Out into the new horizon
D D6 D D6
Wonder in everything
D D6 D D6
No matter how great or small
G
Howlin' like the midnight
G D D6 D D6
Howlin' like the midnight sun
A G
And this ain't no pale reflection
Bm F# E/D
This is the real thing
G A
New horizon
G A D
New horizon within

- VERSE 2 -

And your heart ain't yours to control
No matter how tight the reigns
Love will find its own direction
A time to reap
A time to sow
And many a time to cry in vain
But now the time to celebrate
The glory of this imperfection
Same thing that's scrawled across the stars
Is written under our skin
New horizon
New horizon within

- BRIDGE 1 -

G A Em A
Things come too easy, I get suspicious
G A Em A
Things come too slow, I get bored
G A Em F#
If it don't work out I get superstitious
G A D
But if it does, oh my word

- VERSE 3 -

So I'm gathering the remnants of beauty
From this wilderness in spin
And now I'm gonna fly my own flag
'Cause I'm charged with the radiance of the dawn
That's been so long breaking
Now there ain't nowhere
There ain't nowhere I won't write your name
There's a time to search for understanding
Sometimes you just gotta sing
New horizon
New horizon within

- BRIDGE 2 -

Baby there's no need to get precious
When you know that everything must change
Complacency, it can be so vicious
Turn this love into a cage

- ENDING -

A G
Same thing that's scrawled across the stars
Bm F# E/D
Is written under our skin
G A
New horizon
G A D
New horizon within
G A
New horizon
G A D
New horizon within within within
G A
New horizon
G A D
New horizon within

that is very close put slightly off when i compare it to the Guitar TAB book I have. The song is in Drop D tuning which means you drop the 6th string from E down to D
