yeahhhh no. This doesn't work. Instead, "He's (C) the (C7) lonely man's compan (G) ion (Em) (G) Mr. (D) Cigarette (G)." Only use Cm when he's heading right back to the tonic (G). If he's stepping his way down to the Em (incorrectly labeled as A7), then use C7. The bass line (which is how we define chords) uses passing tones to step from G to the Em, so a C7 is the only possible chord there, as the bass is on that sweet seventh.

Additionally, consider "The (A7) Hopeless man's best bet (D)" - drop the 7th. You only need it when you're headed right back to the tonic, so pick it up in the following line. I'd also argue the "MISTER CIGARETTE"s need no 7th on the D either.

Finally, and most importantly, the phrygian third. GODDANG its important to get a EM instead of an Em (and definitely not an A7!) in "He's the loveless man's goodnight kiss....muah!" This is the cherry on top, don't screw this one up.
