"Hey Kathleen Are You Hungry"
set tempo
*E1 = A7 D9 G9
**E2 = E0 A2 D2
(There were two E chords and one was lower and I didn't know how to write that.)

NOTE: This song is played in ALL power chords.

"Hey Kathleen, Are You Hungry?" by Defiance Ohio

E1* C# B A G#
are you angry? are you searching for a better way to live?

E1 C#
are you waiting? have you been waiting too long?

B A
what holds us back and how to burn

E1 B C# B A
the bridges of a culture that taught us to hate and fear and live

E1 B C# B A
like cogs in a machine and not like lovers friends and kin.

RIFF: A B E2** (x4)

F# A
how can you help but feel depressed,
get up in the morning and get dressed,

look out the window through rush hour smog

F# A
smoke and drink the world away

'cause what the politicians say won't answer any of my questions like ...

E1 C# B A
why am i angry? what am i searching for? is there a better way to live?

E1 C# B
why am i hopeless? have i been waiting too long to strike back against

             A G# F# E2
this state of affairs?

sweet tab. the only part that could be more in depth is the bridge where it goes A B E2.
To get the sound in the song for the A chord just use your pinky on the 9th frets on the 4th(d) and 5th(A) strings. like this:

good work. peace.

It took me too long to understand what was going on with that E1 and E2 detail, well pretty accurate chords anyway well done! Good God, I'm almost 10 years after the last comment that got posted..
