Hey guys. This is actually played on a 7 string.

The intro isn't:
C ------------
G 6----------6
C 6--1-1-1-1-6

It's actually:
C -----------
G 6---------6
C 6---------6
G ---6-6-6-6-

Take a look at live footage, you'll see. Congrats to anyone with that super human finger length though.

My fingers are short as hell and I don't have any problem with the 6 string approach. It's not that big a stretch...

I know, but I don't have a 7 string, much more a 7 string dedicated to open C tuning, and neither do most people I think. Besides, GP forces you into bass clef with that low G, and it looks bad.
