The other chord version here is missing some key chords, so this is an updated version.
These are the chords to play along with the album version. For the live acoustic
versions just put the capo on the 2nd fret instead of the 1st.

Capo 1st fret

     G D/F# Em
You ask me where I'd go tonight I'd go back to today last year
     G D/F# Em
we knew how to make each other happy and there was hope of everything
       G D/F# Em
It's hard enough to feel the world as it is and hold on anything
               Am7 C G
without these quiet times, you've bought round here

     G D/F# Em
I'm going to have to run away, I'm sure that I belong some other place
      G D/F# Em
I've seen another side of all I've seen, it keeps me wondering where my family is
      G D/F# Em
It's hard enough to see the world as it is and hold on anything
               Am7 C G
without these quiet times, coming round here

          G D/F# Em
And I'll miss you, and I want you
            Am7 C G
but I can't have you, even when you're here

     G D/F# Em
I suppose I have to take you with me, broken mind, I'd rather leave you here
     G D/F# Em
so forget everything you've seen and known and erase every idea
        Am7 D7 G D/F# Em
If you walk up in the street and hold my hand and smile
        Am7 D7 G D/F# Em
well I won't be taken in cos I know how it turns out
                 Am7 C G
and it takes me back to these quiet times, coming round here

          G D/F# Em
And I'll miss you, and I want you
              G D/F# Em
you're not coming back and I need you
            Am7 C G
But I can't have you, even when you're here
