intro:
G C G C (play main riff 2x)

G C
Guess you heard I'm doin' well
G C
Struck it rich, to hear some folks tell
Am D
But I'm still the same old me
        G C
Down on Easy Street
G C
You give your all to find that road
G C
And you lose touch with some people as you go
Am D
 Promises are hard to keep
        G C G
Down on Easy Street

         C C
But when I lay down, and you're not there
      Am D
Girl, I wish I was anywhere, but

G D G
In this world where the telephone is all I touch
     D C G
When I'm alone and no one ever really knows
    Am D
The man inside of me
G D G
Up here in this lonely room just a-sippin' wine
      D C G
And a-missin' you girl I've got everything
           Am
But what I need
               F C
That's why I'm down
        G C (play main riff)
Down on Easy Street

G C
Someone told me you moved on
G C
Well who could blame you, with me so off and gone
Am D
But do you ever think of me
        G C G
Down on Easy Street

          C C
If you're out this way, some week, some year
      Am D
Girl, you'll still find me waitin' here

G D G
In this world where the telephone is all I touch
     D C G
When I'm alone and no one ever really knows
    Am D
The man inside of me
G D G
Up here in this lonely room just a-sippin' wine
      D C G
And a-missin' you girl I've got everything
           Am
But what I need
               F C
That's why I'm down

G D G
In this world where the telephone is all I touch

And a-missin' you girl I've got everything

Great tab, on the opening riff, I always just play and hold the root g through the first few notes, it gives it a little bit fuller sound. Just something to spice it up, awesome job with the chords. Thank you
