G# Eb C# G#
but i need you and you're always on my mind
(repeat the same chords on the other verses)

whether there is or isn't any position
you care if i take or if i don't
i will always hold what what we shared so long
to be the only love, and though we don't see eye to eye
i need you, and you're always on my mind

through time, and through many a situation
we both look forward, side-by-side
we have shared it all, we have both stood tall
what is mine is yours, in happiness and in strife
you're my love, and i want you in my life
you're my love, and i want you in my life
you're my love, and i want you in my life

This is quite good, although you could have added an option to play with a Capo on the first fret, it's way easier.
Something like this:

Capo 1
G C Bm G Am
if there is ever the impregnable question of why?
C D
what did or didn't pass?
C G
it would help to seek
C G
comfort in destiny
C G Em C
but i really don't, we don't see eye to eye
G D C G
but i need you and you're always on my mind

(just leaving this to future reference)

Great tab overall, but you've missed one chord: There's an A#m in between the G# and Fm.
