This song is pretty easy, your just really have to listen for timing. 
The guy playing has a 5 string. If you dont have a 5 string, that sucks. 
Because you have to tune down to a low A.

the low A string isn't even used...so why must you tune down?

You can use the E string for the intro part

So it would be
G:-----------------------------------------

A:-----------------------------------------

And if you have a 5 string bass it is easier, because the chorus part
