[Intro]
A D A D

[Verse 1]
A E
The ungrateful few who tangle inside
       D E
Don't care where they're born, they're growing up wild
A E
The rain makes her thirsty and fighting to go
    D E
Her mind turns determined, dark as a storm

[Chorus]
D E A Bm D
So her love has grown as sharp as a bramble rose
        D E A D A D
Like a real good woman nobody knows

[Verse 2]
A E
I get so ashamed for making you blue
   D E
I come back to this porch to make it all up to you
A E
The rain's got me thirsty, falling wasteful and slow
     D E
I'm restless enough, I'm so scared to go

[Chorus 2]
D E A Bm D
So her love has turned as hard as a bramble rose
        D E A D A D
Just a real good woman nobody knows

[Verse 3]
A E
Do you think she'll be happy out on the wind
        D E
Do you think she'll get halfway before it's raining again
A E
Does she find that she’s true when it's hardest to be
             D E
Or will the notions she follows have all turned on me

[Chorus 3]
D E A Bm D
Once her love has blown as far as a bramble rose
        D E F#m D
Just a real good woman nobody knows
        D E A D A D A
Just a real good woman nobody knows

Fantastic job - I was going to do chord charts for the whole CD, but I'm happy to see you've already done it, and done it very well! Awesome!

Thanks so much for the song tabs. Nicely done! I may be incorrect, though, but I think this tab represents Tift's original presentation of the song, which is in the key of D. I believe Don Henley's version is in the key of A..so, if the progression is I, V, IV, V, then perhaps the tab would be A, E, D, E?

Thanks so much for submitting your tab of the song. Nicely done. However, if I am not mistaken, I think the tab represents the Tift's original presentation of the song, which is in the key of D. I believe that Don's version is the key of A. So, if the chord progression is a I, V, IV, V, then his version might be A, E, D, E.
