[Verse 1]

                 A B C#m
We got the upper hand
                  A B C#m
A random set of cards
                 A B C#m
Try and see my friend
               F#m E A
How lucky we are

                         A B C#m
You got your big eyes fixed
                    A B C#m
On the rearview mirror
                 A B C#m
I say we look ahead
                   F#m E A
To see how lucky we are

[Pre-Chorus]
               B
And it's a strange life
         A
It's a great ride

[Chorus 1]
          A B
There's a light that you don't see
             E A
You're the light that shines on me
           A B
We got everything we need
              A B C#m
To make this work

[Verse 2]
                      A B C#m
We live a long, long time
                    A B C#m
And feel life is short
                 A B C#m
We got all we need
                       F#m E A

                  A B C#m
We got the upper hand
                  A B C#m
A random set of people
                         A B C#m
Such very close friends
              F#m E A
How lucky we are

You're the light that shines on me
          A B
We got everything we need

I think the capo goes on the 1ste fret.
Your chords are in G now and the tune of the song is G#.
If you put the capo on the 1st fret the chords are good.
If you listen to the song, Douwe never sings in a flat tune at the end of a line.
For example:
Pre-chorus
It's a Strange(D#) life,
It's a Great(C#) ride.

I have placed the tune Douwe is singing and where the chord is placed in this tab.
D# has the chord D#-G-A#
C# has the chord C#-F-G#
So without the capo the guitar play a A# chord by Strange and a G# by Great. With capo at the 1ste a B and A.
