Verse 1:
Bb Eb Bb Eb
Nothing they could do just sit down there
       Bb Eb f Bb
As the black closed all around them
        Bb Eb Bb Eb
And the water rose so quick and cold
     Bb Eb f
An unlikely place to drown

Chorus:
Eb Bb f Bb
Nine in the mine, trapped down below
Eb Bb F Bb
Down! Down! Down in the ground
    Eb Bb F Bb
And this would be the day I didn't kiss my wife goodbye
     Eb Bb f Bb
Take care of my family, I'm buried alive

Verse 2:
     Bb Eb Bb Eb
They held their heads up high
        Bb Eb f Bb
As they strugged hard to breathe
    Bb Eb Bb Eb
And asked the Lord to open his arms
        Bb Eb f
For the nine souls he'd receive

Some twenty-four stories down

If You put a capo on the first fret, you can just play A, D and E minor instead of Bb Eb and f. It makes it a little easier.
