Dry Cell: New Revolution

Transcribed by: mysticguitar77

Date last modified: January 19, 2011

Tuning: Drop Db (Db,Ab,Db,Gb,Bb,Eb)

Notes: What I'm tabbing is what I covered, nothing more, but this is the basic framework
for this song.

Riff 1
Eb|-----------------------------------------|
Bb|-----------------------------------------|
Gb|-----------------------------------------|
Db|-14----14----14----14----9---9---9---9---|
Ab|-----------------------------------------|
Db|----12----12----12----12---7---7---7---7-|

Eb|-----------------------------------------|
Bb|-----------------------------------------|
Gb|-----------------------------------------|
Db|-12---12---12---12---11---11---11---11---|
Ab|-----------------------------------------|
Db|----9----9----9----9----9----9----9----9-|

Note: This can be tricky, it's played pretty fast and there's string skips, but I'm
nearly positive this is how you play it.

Play Riff 1 twice

Riff 2 - Band kicks in
Eb|-----------------------------------------|
Bb|-----------------------------------------|
Gb|-----------------------------------------|
Db|-14-12-14-12-14-12-14-12-9-7-9-7-9-7-9-7-|
Ab|-12-12-12-12-12-12-12-12-7-7-7-7-7-7-7-7-|
Db|-12-12-12-12-12-12-12-12-7-7-7-7-7-7-7-7-|

Eb|-----------------------------------------|
Bb|-----------------------------------------|
Gb|-----------------------------------------|
Db|-12-9-12-9-12-9-12-9-11-9-11-9-11-9-11-9-|
Ab|-9--9-9--9-9--9-9--9-9--9-9--9-9--9-9--9-|
Db|-9--9-9--9-9--9-9--9-9--9-9--9-9--9-9--9-|

Note: Similar to Riff 1 except played power chord style. Could even be 2 guitars: one
playing Riff 1 with another playing the power chords underneath, but it's easiest just to
combine the two if that's the case. And it sounds good this way.

Play Riff 2 twice

Riff 3 "Hello again..."
Eb|-------------------------------------------------|
Bb|-------------------------------------------------|
Gb|-------------------------------------------------|
Db|-7/9-9-9-9-x-x-x-x-9-x-9-9\7-7-7-7-x-x-x-x-7-x-7-|
Ab|-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-|
Db|-7/9-9-9-9-x-x-x-x-9-x-9-9\7-7-7-7-x-x-x-x-7-x-7-|

Eb|--------------------------------------------------------------|
Bb|--------------------------------------------------------------|
Gb|--------------------------------------------------------------|
Db|-7/9-9-9-9-x-x-x-x-9-x-9-9/11-11-11-11-x-x-11/12-12-12-12-x-x-|
Ab|-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x--x--x--x--x-x-x--x--x--x--x--x-x-|
Db|-7/9-9-9-9-x-x-x-x-9-x-9-9/11-11-11-11-x-x-11/12-12-12-12-x-x-|

Play Riff 3 twice

Riff 4 "Ohhhhhhhhhhh, ohhhhhhhhhhhh..."
Eb|---------------------|
Bb|---------------------|
Gb|---------------------|
Db|-9----7----5----2--0-|
Ab|-9----7----5----2--0-|
Db|-9----7----5----2--0-|

Play Riff 4 twice

Transition
Eb|-----------------|
Bb|-----------------|
Gb|-----------------|
Db|-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-|
Ab|-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-|
Db|-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-|

Riff 5 "This is a new revolution..." (chords only)
Eb|--------------------------------------|

Play Riff 2 x4 "Ohhhhhhhhhh, you always hide away..."

Db|-9-9-9-9-9\\\-|

That's all and that's the last of my Dry Cell tabs at least for awhile. This one
definitely took the longest. Enjoy!

Hey guys for however that checks out this tab, you can also play the intro like this if it's easier for you:

Eb|------------------------------------------|
Bb|------------------------------------------|
Gb|------------------------------------------|
Db|-14-12-14-12-14-12-14-12--9-7-9-7-9-7-9-7-|
Ab|------------------------------------------|
Db|------------------------------------------|

Eb|------------------------------------------|
Bb|------------------------------------------|
Gb|------------------------------------------|
Db|-12-9-12-9-12-9-12-9--11-9-11-9-11-9-11-9-|
Ab|------------------------------------------|
Db|------------------------------------------|

You are still playing the same note in theory, but in a different octave. I prefer the version I tabbed out before, but you can play it either way and it should sound good.
