Thank you for the comment and your suggestion! But I do not really understand it, though. To me, it doesn't make much difference to what I had already come up with.

I suggested a C6 there. The Am7/C that you hear would only differ in one note, the added g. I tried to figure out possible voicings for Am7/C and the only (comfortably playable) way I could come up with was x-3-5-5-5-5. Now isn't that a C6? What do you say?
