Second chording I have done!
I posted these chords because they are much easier than the first version added, and I
think more fun!
Capo 1.

--------------------------------------
Am
Where have all the good men gone
    G
And where are all the gods?
Am
Where's the street-wise Hercules
    C
To fight the rising odds?
Am G
Isn't there a white knight upon a fiery steed?
 F G
Late at night I toss and turn and dream
            (G let ring)
of what I need

[Chorus]
         Am F
I need a hero
                      C G
I'm holding out for a hero 'til the end of the night
              Am
He's gotta be strong
                 F
And he's gotta be fast
        C G
And he's gotta be fresh from the fight
        Am F
I need a hero
                   C G
I'm holding out for a hero 'til the morning light
              Am
He's gotta be sure
                  F
And it's gotta be soon
                C G (Let Ring)
And he's gotta be larger than life

larger then life

Am, F, C, G [x2] FOR
Do do do do do do do do do do
Do do do do do do

Am
Somewhere after midnight
      F
In my wildest fantasy
Am
Somewhere just beyond my reach
        G
There's someone reaching back for me
Am G
Racing on the thunder and rising with the heat
F (C)
Isn't there a superman to sweep me off my feet?

[Chorus]
  Am F
I need a hero
                      C G
I'm holding out for a hero 'til the end of the night
              Am
He's gotta be strong
                 F
And he's gotta be fast
        C G
And he's gotta be fresh from the fight
        Am F
I need a hero
                   C G
I'm holding out for a hero 'til the morning light
              Am
He's gotta be sure
                  F
And it's gotta be soon
                C G (Let Ring)
And he's gotta be larger than life

larger then life

(F/Am)
Up where the mountains meet the heavens above
G
Out where the lightning splits the sea
   Am
I could swear that there's someone, somewhere
C (Am)
Watching me
F
Through the wind and the chill and the rain
G
And the storm and the raging flood
C G
I can feel his approach
        C G
just Like the fire in my blood

          Am
Ill meet a hero
    F C G
And then we'll dance till morning light
          C
Dreaming he'll leave me,
      F G
He'll die tonight's the night

[Chorus]

  Am F
I need a hero
                      C G
I'm holding out for a hero 'til the end of the night
              Am
He's gotta be strong
                 F
And he's gotta be fast
        C G
And he's gotta be fresh from the fight
        Am F
I need a hero
                   C G
I'm holding out for a hero 'til the morning light
              Am
He's gotta be sure
                  F
And it's gotta be soon
                C G (Let Ring)
And he's gotta be larger than life

larger then life.

Hey great job on the chords! My only correction is about the lyrics. I believe it's "dreaming he'll lead me/ held tight tonight's the night" Instead of "he'll leave me" and "he'll die" thanks for the great music!
