This is my first tab so it may be slightly wrong! However, this sounds perfectly
okay on both piano and guitar :)

Ellie Goulding-Explosions
Standard Tuning-No Capo

Intro: F Dm x2
Verse 1:
F Dm F Dm
You tremble like you'd seen a ghost and i gave in
F Dm F Dm
I lack the things you need the most you said, where have you been
F Dm F Dm
You wasted all that sweetness to run and hide, I wonder why
F Dm F Dm
I remind you of the days you poured your heart into, but you never tried

Pre-Chorus:
Dm
I've fallen from grace
Dm
Took a blow to my face
    Bb
I've loved and I've lost
    C
I've loved and I've lost

Chorus:
  Bb Dm F
Explosions...on the day you wake up
F Dm C Am
Needing somebody and you've learned
        Bb F
It's okay to be afraid
Bb F Dm
But it will never be the same
                        F Dm
It will never be the same

Verse 2:
F Dm
You left my soul bleeding in the dark
F Dm
So you could be king
F Dm F Dm
The rules you set are still untold to me and I lost faith in everything

Pre-Chorus 2:
         Am Dm
The nights you could cope, your intentions were gold
            Am
But the mountains will shake
           C
I need to know I can still make

Chorus 2:
  Bb Dm F
Explosions...on the day you wake up
F Dm C Am
Needing somebody and you've learned
        Bb F
It's okay to be afraid
Bb F Dm
But it will never be the same
                        Dm F Gm Bb
It will never be the same

Bridge:
Dm
And as the floods move in
F
And your body starts to sink
Gm
I was the last thing on your mind
Bb
I know you better than you think
Dm C Gm
Cause it's simple darling, I gave you a warning
                      Bb Dm
Now everything you own is falling from the sky in pieces
                  F Gm
So watch them fall with you, in slow motion
                            Bb
I pray that you will find peace of mind
                    Dm
And I'll find you another time
C Gm
I'll love you, another time

Final Chorus:

  Bb Dm F
Explosions...on the day you wake up
F Dm C Am
Needing somebody and you've learned
        Bb F
It's okay to be afraid
Bb F Dm
But it will never be the same
                        F Dm
It will never be the same

Outro: F Dm x4
Finish on F

Thanks so much!!! I've been waiting for this for ages :)
Might I suggest, for those playing on guitar, and for those with much lower vocal ranges than Ms Goulding (like myself), to transpose the chords so it would be the original key on Capo 5 (the chords become C Am F G etc). Then you can move the capo down as needed!

I would suggest for the pre-chorus to play Dm to Am and then Bb to F and then C to Em. It sounds kinda bland otherwise to me on the first two lines... the other changes are just to keep it feeling the same. I enjoyed everything else perfectly. I used the previously stated suggestion while playing the changed pre-chorus btw. Thanks for the chords, now I know how to play all of my favorite songs by Ellie
