About this tab version
This version has that nice bass walk-down, and uses the Am as a substitute for the second C of the verse, and the chorus has that nice D7 turnaround that you don't find on other versions. These changes really elevate it to a more sophisticated level and increase the difficulty level to intermediate. Was this info helpful? Yes No

(If picked on acoustic guitar or played on piano, or both,
walk the bass(root) note down during each 4-count measure,
except the last chord of the verses, which is played for
a quarter note and then breaks.)

[Chords]
G (G/G G/F# G/E G/D)
C (C/C C/B C/A C/G)
Am(Am/A Am/G Am/F# Am/E)
D (D/D D/C D/B D/A)

(Each Chord designation represents a full 4-count measure,
and if placed ahead of a lyric instead of over the first
letter of a word or syllable, then the chord progression
is started before the singing, which will commence on the
second count.)
