This is Emily Ann Robert's version of "In the Garden" as performed live on The Voice.
It's in the key of 'F' and I thought this would be the easiest way for a novice player to play
it, but feel free to transpose, move your capo and play it in different keys. If you don't have a capo,
simply transpose it up 3 clicks.
I believe the actual guitar on the show is tuned down a whole step (D) and played in a 'G' configuration
for who don't mind re-tuning their guitar. Enjoy and please be sure to rate!

Capo 3

Intro: D / A7 / D / *A7

    D
I come to the garden alone,
           G D
While the dew is still on the roses,
         A D B7
And the voice I hear falling on my ear
     E7 A
The Son of God discloses.

     D
He speaks, and the sound of His voice
        G D
Is so sweet the birds hush their singing,
         A D B7
And the melody that He gave to me
   E7 A
Within my heart is ringing.

Chorus
         D A
And He walks with me, and He talks with me,
        Em A D A
And He tells me that I am His own;
         D F# Bm G
And the joy we share as we tarry there,
      D A D A
None other has ever known.

         D F# Bm G
And the joy we share as we tarry there,
      D A G G, D, Em, *D
None other has ever known.
