[Verse]
Am E7/G#
Standing at the crossroads
C/G D/F#
Trying to read the signs
F G Am
To tell me which way I should go
            E7/G#
To find the answer
    C/G D/F#
And all the time I know
F G A
Plant your love and let it grow

[Chorus:]
A A/G# A/F# A/E
Let it grow, let it grow
D A G
Let it blossom, let it flow
A A/G# A/F# A/E
In the sun, the rain, the snow
D A G E
Love is lovely, let it grow

[Verse]
Am E7/G#
Looking for a reason
   C/G D/F#
To check out on my mind
F G Am
Trying hard to find a friend
           E7/G#
That I can count on
        C/G D/F#
There’s nothing left to show
F G A
Plant your love and let it grow

Let it blossom, let it flow
A A/G# A/F# A/E
In the sun, the rain, the snow
D A G E
Love is lovely, let it grow

What you are needing

The rest is up to you

Thanks for tabbing this, I had forgotten what a great track this is, although the main progression always makes me think of 'Chim-chim-chiree' from Mary Poppins.

Here's just a few little suggestions you might like to try.

In the Verses: the E7/G# I play as (4x2400) I can pick the notes for the main riff easier with this shape.

In the Choruses: instead of the progression [A - A/G# - A/F#], I'd start with this A shape (x7650), then to an Amaj7/G# (406650), then an F#m7(24222)
On the last line of the choruses, after the D and A , I play a progression of G - G/F# - E - E7
