Artist: Eva Cassidy
English Lyrics by Johnny Mercer and Music by Joseph Kosma

             Am D7 G C
The falling leaves drift by my window
             Am B7 Em
The falling leaves of red and gold
            Am D7 G C
I see your lips, the summer kisses
              Am B7 Em
The sunburned hands I used to hold
           B7 Em
Since you went away the days grow long
               Am7 D7 G
And soon I'll hear old winter's song
       Am B7 Em7
But I miss you most of all, my darling
      Am B7 Em7
When autumn leaves start to fall

(Instrumental for 1 minute)

 Em B7 Em
Since you went away the days grow long
               Am7 D7 G
And soon I'll hear old winter's song
      Am B7 Em7
But I iss you most of all, my darling
      Am B7 Em7
When autumn leaves start to fall
   Am B7 Em7
I miss you most of all, my darling
      Am B7 Em7
When autumn leaves start to fall

The "simplified" chords are fine, but they are not Eva Cassidy's sound nor her version - perhaps remove her name? She neither wrote the song nor covered it as it was originally written. Her version is a tribute to her spirit. This simplification is an insult to her legacy... thx
